BUYER BEWARE. Worse experience of my life...bought a trailer for 24,000.... it's under water twice a year. Can't even walk out the back door without swimming....we have put over 30,000 into the trailer....now told by manager Angie that we either foreclose or get eviction for trumped up made up charges...even went to court against a neighbor and won...be careful...sun homes want the home back after a few years to make more money off you....nobody will even call you back from the corporate office and the manager is never in or if she is....will not call you back...21st mortgage is even worse....they want though to keep paying even if you're told to move with a foreclosure....I have everything on tape from manager Angie telling us to foreclose on our trailer....don't really think it's legal...but they will raise your rent almost 20$ a year and the water bills here are outrageous....1 person 70$ a month. A whole family will pay over 120$ a month just for water....maintenance men don't do nothing but screw up your lawn and then you're responsible for fixing it or you will get charges.....I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy....be careful....lot rent is over 500 a month here now and keeps going up...I started at 350$ a month....pathetic customer service I've ever received in my life...BUYER BEWARE
This place sucks ass my dish washer started acting up so the down graded it so they could save money they take for ever to repair things if they dont forget to write a repair order up and there maint man cant fix anything since hes not certified to fix anything so he comes out and says ill call the companys to come look at it
Was just given a notice that we can't park at vacant homes or lots. I have family in from out of state for the holiday. Where am I to park? We can't park on the grass, can't park in the road and they took the visitors parking away. Thank you for making this park very customer unfriendly! Rent goes up and we get less and less service and response from the office. Still waiting for the tree to be taken out of my yard before it falls over taking out 3 homes, the walk way to be fixed and my back yard to be drained probably so it can be used. Oh wait it's not in the budget as I keep being told. I would not recommend this park or any Sun Community property to anyone. They do not care about the residents safety or comfort. Some residents can have missing skirting, trash filled back yards...but those who care about their homes are the ones who are treated like they are the problem. Wish Christopher Investment was still the owner this place would be so much nicer and staff would be friendly and approachable.
I enjoy living here but the water bill is outrageous. I own my home. My newest bill is $199 for one month saying I used 9000 gallons of water! Are you kidding me! There is absolutely no reason anyone should be paying over $100 month on water.
When i first moved to Michigan I lived with my daughter here in this park and then i got my own place and at this time the place was managed by Scott and he was great but he got promoted and left. then they had another manager in there but only for a month due to the way they handle thing's she left, then they brought in the New manager Angela Toppings and she is crazy and out of her mind. the rules for this property are determined by her on who she chooses that the rules apply too. She called the cops on us for my boys tossing a football back and forth in the road right out side the neighbor boys do the same thing but they never got the cops called on them for doing the same thing. Angela Toppings just hate my kids cause they would have friends over and she didn't like anyone to have visitors she felt that she made the choices for you on who you can have visit or come over and if she didn't like it well you would get threatened with a eviction notice or a write up This woman is out of her freaking mind...I moved out cause this woman is making the place the worse place to live and the homes well unless they are brand new are crap they fix them up half ass and make you do repairs on the home when you are renting that's their job now if you own I can see that you do the repairs but not when your renting and the rent is outrages for the lot rent and house the homes are falling apart in every way. and instead of lowering the rent for people who lived here for years they raise it up you pay over a 1000.00 a month for a home that is falling apart and they blame you for it too. the water bill is outrages also. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Corporate is useless with this property i guess they want their places to get bad review and eventually have empty homes it will eventually be a ghost town cause no one will want to live there and if they do manage to get in she will make their life hell and they will move out. oh on top of that the maintenance people are wearing body cameras like what you feel you have to video tape everyone, i believe that is in violations of the privacy act and on top of that Oakland county don't except video for anything they will take it into consideration is all. so if you no anyone looking for a place refer them to Groveland Manor or Holly Hills before they go here cause they will regret it.... Its HELL here The only reason there is one star is cause it won't let me put nothing so had to give one star.
