When I take in the notice, the woman seems incredulous that I brought it in. "It's been two weeks," she says, as if I can't read. No apology, except for a blank glare. I get one notice for a package in my fiance's name, and I'm a day late on getting in to the post office. I look to see empty space on the shelves. In contrast, I've lived in other cities where they sent multiple notices and kept packages a few days longer. So much for a small town community atmosphere.
Not only do I have to drive out of my way, I now have to repay shipping on a package that was not left in my name for some weird, post office reason. Seems like it could be worth less stars.
Personable and 90% competent and awesome. There is one clerk who is... Not quite up to par. But, all are very friendly. Very crowded around Noon and 3pm most days.
We just moved to the area, and I am not impressed at all. I had received a "sorry we missed you" notice in the mail. Except, it wasn't in my name it was in my significant other's name, and was given to him. Otherwise I would have taken it in earlier.
Many of the employees at this post office are very rude. Multiple times they have told us that we should not come in when we are mailing out large numbers of packages. They told us we should do it online and begrudgingly put stickers on all of them. If we want to come into the post office to send out 15 packages then that is our choice and we should not be shamed for having more than 10 packages to send out. I have been sending out hundreds of packages for over a year in bed too many post offices. No other post office has been so upset about having to send out more than 10 packages at once. This is the only post office near me so I will have to keep using them but if I keep receiving attitude than I am going to have to speak to their Postmaster General.
Called at 1:15 on Saturday. The office was closed. Says on here office hours are 6 to 3:30. Just wanted to let everyone know in case they are planning a trip to the post office.
I've had good experiences with the Holly Post Office. The clerks are always friendly and don't try to rush you while you're there. Not sure why others have posted negative reviews. Probably better that those people do go online instead of seeing them in person.
